In 2017 I started making Lenses for the social media app Snapchat using their tool called Lens Studio. As of writing this one of my Lenses has over half a million views.

Snapchat Lens Studio is a free desktop program that lets you create augmented reality filters for Snapchat. You can add 3D models, animations, and sounds to make your own custom lens. It's really easy to use with its drag-and-drop interface, and you can even make your lens interactive with facial recognition and movement triggers. After you finish making your lens, you can submit it to Snapchat for approval and share it with others.

I use the tools in the program to design and create my lens. This may involve adding 3D objects, animations, and sound effects. I could also adjust the lighting, colors, and other visual effects to customize the lens to my liking.

Once my lens is complete, I test it to make sure it works properly. I can either use the preview option in Lens Studio to test it out, or I could try it out on my own Snapchat account to see how it looks in action.

If everything looks good, I submit my lens to Snapchat for approval. This process can take some time, but once my lens is approved, it will be available for others to use in the Snapchat app.

Overall, creating lenses in Snapchat Lens Studio can be a fun and creative process.
